Corel partners with Intel to give users more choice

Let’s face it, no one wants to be told what to do. We have an innate sense of rebellion when we are given orders (remember your mom telling you to clean your room?). We want options and the ability to make our own decisions, especially when it comes to shopping.

Working in social media here at Corel, one of my many tasks is to help spread the word about the choices we offer customers. We constantly evolve with technology and user demands to give you more options. You choose how to find, shop for and use our products!

Recently, Corel began working with the Intel AppUp center, which recently renewed its focus on Windows desktop apps. Aside from having a really cool name, the AppUp center now features a number of our products: PaintShop Pro, VideoStudio Pro and WinZip. It’s yet another way for you to find and use our software.

Corel has a long-standing relationship with Intel. Our software is optimized and designed for Intel platforms. It only makes sense to offer our products through the Intel AppUp center. Right now, the AppUp center is even offering 50% off Corel PaintShop Pro and VideoStudio Pro.

Intel AppUp is a one-stop shop for those looking for the latest apps. Gone are the days of visiting multiple stores just to compare prices before purchasing a product. I get tired just thinking of “shopping around” for something. Customers can have the software they want within minutes, all with the click of a button or tap of a finger. It’s amazing how much we can do without leaving our house, or pajamas.

How do you shop? Are you an online shopper, or do you prefer to visit stores in person? Drop a comment below and let us know how you shop!

  1. When is Corel going to get behind the most valuable application in their stable and start re-envigorating it – of course I’m talking about Ventura. I’ve been using it for years – v10 runs great on Win7 or 8, I can still open files written on v4 back in the dark ages. Recently my laptop burned up and I was forced to bring out an old Vaio running Windows ME and of course Ventura was there (v8 in this case) to keep me running and productive and the files run perfectly on v10. Try opening a Word doc from a few years ago on the new Word!
