Graphic design tools play a pivotal role in transforming creative visions into reality. Today we launched the latest version of CorelDRAW Graphics Suite 2024, which features an array of game-changing design features and enhancements that promise to redefine the boundaries of creativity and productivity. Try it freetoday.

Transforming art through brush technology

CorelDRAW Graphics Suite 2024 introduces an innovative set of updates designed to empower creatives. At the heart of these advancements is the Painterly Brush tool, which features 100 realistic pixel-based brushes, built on the world-famous Corel Painter brush technology. CorelDRAW’s new Painterly Brush tool combines the best of both worlds: the realistic-looking effects of pixel strokes and the easy manipulation, scaling, and non-destructive quality of vector. Our brush technology also delivers something Adobe Illustrator does not; the ability to seamlessly tailor each pixel-based brush stroke to perfection, using the vector curve tools graphic designers are used to.

The integration of Corel Painter’s brush technology into CorelDRAW Graphics Suite 2024 enables artists to transform their vector designs into masterpieces of art. Whether sculpting curves, transforming paths, or making precise adjustments, users can now tailor each stroke, adding a new dimension to their digital canvases.

Enhancements that matter

Listening to our customers, we incorporated several enhancements into the new CorelDRAW Graphics Suite 2024 that will streamline the workflow:

  • Direct access to Remote fonts, such as Google Fonts, in CorelDRAW and Corel PHOTO-PAINT.
  • A redesigned approach to working with non-destructive bitmap effects.
  • Notable improvements to stability, as well as refinements to frequently used features.

Membership has its benefits

Subscribers and maintenance customers can now gain exclusive access to 300 new cloud-based design templates with this release, all of which will save them time and spark inspiration. The world’s most-beloved design software is getting even better

CorelDRAW Graphics Suite has a seriously loyal fan base around the world for a reason: it makes work easier for professional designers, and makes life more colorful for everyone.

Everyone knows creativity isn’t static—it’s always changing and evolving. We think our solutions should be the same way. That’s why we’re constantly innovating to level up our products, and we could not be more excited to unveil new updates to CorelDRAW Graphics Suite.

Now, you’ll be able to create even faster and more intuitively. Many of our product enhancements are based on direct user feedback, so you know we’re listening. Best of all, CorelDRAW Graphics Suite is giving you more choice. You’re getting a full, professional-caliber design suite with everything you need to create your world.

Say no to layered subscriptions!

We know that other design solutions are now less affordable than ever and are charging for access to essential design elements. Case in point: color palettes. With CorelDRAW Graphics Suite, you can ensure your colors are spot-on with integrated access to Pantone® color libraries at no additional cost. Adobe customers must purchase a Pantone Connect subscription on top of their Adobe CC subscription to access the Pantone Matching System (PMS) for color specification. Eek!

With costs rising everywhere, we think it’s important to give you the most robust, integrated suite of tools available without complicated, costly layered pricing.

Not a fan of subscriptions at all? We’ve got you covered. In addition to our popular all-access subscription model, CorelDRAW Graphics Suite is rolling out a new, perpetual version of the software. Buy once, keep forever.

And, of course, if you prefer the subscription model with its full access to the cloud software, your wish is our command.

Professional design for everyone

We love to hear how people use CorelDRAW. With our millions of users, it feels like there are millions of different stories.

There are the folks who loved art as a kid and thought they had to give it up when they ‘grew up,’ only to find that CorelDRAW reignites their passion.

There are the knowledge workers who love the moments when they get to leverage creativity in their jobs, especially because they can produce professional-caliber work without professional training.

There are the hobbyists who indulge in CorelDRAW as a ‘brain break’ from their other responsibilities.

There are the professional designers who use CorelDRAW to optimize their talents and create award-winning work with ease.

“I have been using CorelDRAW Graphics Suite for many years. When I’m creating packaging designs, logos, illustrations or even my prize-winning vector art, I am confident the results I achieve are first class. It’s easy and fun to use and I’m always learning new ways to create using CorelDRAW.” Cat Soper, Illustrator

Creativity + productivity, no compromise

This fully loaded toolkit for professional vector illustration, layout, photo editing, typography, and collaboration is equal parts creative and efficient: the perfect recipe for delivering breathtaking design projects, quickly.

How/where do you find your inspiration?

I look to music, the people in my life, and my experiences. Inspiration is something I’d rather make than look for. So, I gather songs, ask my friends and family questions, or sometimes just draw things from my life.

What things do you do when you face a creative block?

I just draw. Structure is a big thing for me and keeping in a rhythm is the best way for me to avoid getting stuck. When I do, I go back to where I started, or I ask friends and family for help.

What are mistakes/lessons you’ve encountered as a beginner and have learned from?

Art is a very spiritual thing. You grow in your art if you want to grow as a person. You don’t get better if you don’t put in the hard work. Draw things that you don’t want to draw. Draw to improve your skill, draw when you don’t feel like it, and draw when you’re burnt out. Art is a service to our culture and improving yourself to serve others is a mindset that will set you on the fastest path to improvement.

What are your best tips/tricks when working with CorelDRAW?

Hotkeys, hotkeys, hotkeys. You can create your own workspace and edit hotkeys for pretty much anything. Getting familiar with them or just setting your own hotkeys that make sense to you will help you work more efficiently and keep you in your rhythm.

How/where do you find your inspiration?

I usually try to find inspiration in real life. Studying how color and light work all around us is what drives me the most.

What things do you do when you face a creative block?

When I find myself in that kind of spot, I try to focus on simple things first. When muscle memory starts working, your creative juices start flowing. Then it’s usually easier to approach more complex and difficult aspects of the work.

What are mistakes/lessons you’ve encountered as a beginner and have learned from?

As a beginner I wasn’t using references enough. I have some traditional art background and there was a common belief that using photo references is cheating. Currently I’m working in the game development industry, and everyone here agrees that the ability to find and use good references is necessary to create believable and compelling art.

What are your best tips/tricks when working with CorelDRAW?

I would recommend customizing your workspace for your needs. CorelDRAW provides you many options for this. You can change almost every shortcut and arrange tools in the most convenient way on your screen.

All artists in this series are customers of Alludo and use CorelDRAW.

How/where do you find your inspiration?

I usually seek inspiration through a combination of online and real-world examples and experiences. I like to explore Pinterest, Behance, and artworks from Instagram. I then try to combine them with my previous experience, which I find interesting.

For now, I mostly use sad experiences in the past that I turn into digital works. I think it can be an artistic stress reliever! I also like cartoons, especially Anime. I learned a lot about understanding the ideal human proportions through watching Anime. Moreover, I really enjoy the stories and that encourages me to continue to make artwork.

What things do you do when you face a creative block?

First, you must identify what kind of “art block” it is. If the art block is caused by something external, it’s better to go on vacation, or switch to other activities that are relaxing and entertaining. For art blocks that are a result of a lack of creative ideas, I often explore Pinterest and several other art websites to quickly find inspiration. Sometimes I’ll look at my old photos for story ideas in the illustrations that I make.

What are mistakes/lessons you’ve encountered as a beginner and have learned from?

There will always be people above us and below us. Having big dreams is good but we must always be grateful for what we have right now.

Dare to say “no”. The more often you say yes to something, especially if it’s not something important, it just drains our time, energy, and thoughts.

Art style isn’t everything. Maybe it can help us to build a brand, but if we work cooperatively, we must be adaptive and adjust the vision of the team.

What are your best tips/tricks when working with CorelDRAW?

Believe in the process. This not only applies in CorelDRAW, but in work in general. If you decide to start a project, make sure to finish it! Sometimes, when our work is only 30% completed, we see it as less attractive and want to give up and just throw it away. Try to believe in yourself and trust that the process will always make your work 100% cooler than you expected.

How/where do you find your inspiration?

I find my inspiration mainly in nature. Landscapes offer a very interesting variety of colors and shapes for all kinds of artistic work.

What things do you do when you face a creative block?

For me, the best thing is to walk and relax in a park. The act of walking clears my mind, that way I feel refreshed and can continue with my work.

What are mistakes/lessons you’ve encountered as a beginner and have learned from?

I think my main mistake was to lock myself into a single style. Currently I try to get out of my comfort zone by exploring new art styles and experimenting with new forms of composition, which is exciting.

What are your best tips/tricks when working with CorelDRAW?

What I like the most about CorelDRAW is the fact that I can customize the interface according to my needs. I like to accommodate elements such as bars and menus, as well as assign shortcuts for the tools that I use most frequently, that way I can work more comfortably.

All artists in this series are customers of Alludo and use CorelDRAW.
